Counting the days (Phillip Eugene Tripp) Verse 1: I’m counting the days, since you smiled at me. It’s been so long I can’t remember. Thinking of you, all of the time. I doubt I ever even cross your mind. (Cross your mind) Verse 2: There ain’t nobody else I would lie awake for, The moonlight’s falling on my face. In the night I realise its true – I’m stupid enough to keep on Thinking of you. Bridge: All the leaves were green outside. Then slowly turned brown and fell from height. I’m thinking back to the day when- We’d talk and my pulse would be Increasing. (Would be increasing) Chorus: I’m sitting round a pub table, drinks half empty. You’re taking some time to melt the ice Silent conversation is all we ever hold, But I know there are words you’ve got for me. Verse 3: I’m hearing what you’re friends say- It’s like being in the playground. Chinese whispers is a game. I come and say “Hi” just like any other day, Your cold shoulders in my way. Verse 4: I saw you acting today, I’m waiting for this to end – You’re not fooling anyone. I know, you think, your mind games are strong, But your only denying yourself.

Beautiful 04:27
Beautiful (Phillip Eugene Tripp) Verse 1: When I wake up in the morning, you're the only dream stuck in my mind. See the world go by, I look out through my window. Only one out there, to make it right, Verse 2: So glad when I was with you. I tried to spell it out, did ya see me? Stood by the bar he made it so clear - he don't think about you like I do. Pre Chorus: You're just like when - I think of San Francisco or a Sunset Sky, hanging over Waterloo. A Snow delight, laced through Evergreen, now I realise in hindsight.... Chorus: I should have said, "You're Beautiful" (Beautiful) Maybe instead, of playing a fool. If I had said, "You're Beautiful" It wouldn't be wrong, just so right. Verse 3: It turned so cold tonight. I had no idea you'd be led astray. See you in the rear view mirror for the last time - Time won't fade how I feel for you Pre Chorus: You're just like when, ETC Chorus: Middle Eight: You told me your dreams, so I'm gonna build them up for all to see. Just like you, I know the future will be....Beautiful. Instrumental solo: Chorus: (& Vocal ad libs) Outro: (Whispered) San Francisco, Sunset Sky, Evergreen, You & I X4 END
3.
On the level (Phillip Eugene Tripp) Verse 1: I know it to be true. There’s no truth in your game – And I’m not foolish to believe. Anymore in disbelief. Bridge: Take one look, then I smile. When I see you try and win me. Keep talking your talk – And Il watch you fade away….. Into nothing. Chorus: Can’t you see I’m on the level? I see you lower than me, Stay on your face. You think you’re above my territory. You’re Hype (Hype) Hype (Hype) Don’t believe it. Verse 2: Every time you’re around. You’d better keep hot stepping, Stay in line. Time and time again. Your manipulation sent me down. Down.
